Unique Personality

Unique Personality

Bright, Unique, and Colorful? What could it be?  My bedroom.  Beyond the bustling city where it is crowded, you will find my house on Smith Road in the beautiful country. It isn’t just my room because it is also my sister’s hangout too. The bed is soft, and the dresser looks like a dresser, but the walls truly make my room a unique masterpiece.

My bed is one of my favorite things in my room.  It is super comfortable, soft, and very warm once you get in the bed.  The bed is a queen bed, and I have fleece pink sheets on it when it is winter.  I have a soft, daintily, turquoise comforter, which feels like a cloud on my bed.  Mostly I sleep in bed. Snuggling with my sister Gianna, we like to admire the glow-in-the-dark stars, which are on the ceiling.  On my bedpost I have a rosary, because sometimes I pray in bed.  On the nightstand, that is by my bed, I have oils to help me sleep, a pink lamp, and some pictures of my family. I love my bed and my favorite part of going to sleep is cuddling up with Gianna under the comforter.

My walls are fun and interesting, too. They are white. Yes…boring but my Aunt Robin and I creatively painted a tree on the wall, since my mom let us.  Like a storybook, there are turquoise leaves and pink flowers on the tree, because those are my favorite colors.  Flying around the tree there are butterflies, dragonflies, ladybugs, and bees, with a brightly painted bird and an owl nesting on a branch. There is also a puppy by the tree, which has a ball in its mouth. On my wall I have a silver crucifix and saint pictures of St. Therese and the Blessed Mother Mary.  Finally, I have a pegboard with a calendar, pictures, and inspirational quotes and sayings.  My walls are fun and have my very own taste.

Last but not least we come to my handy dresser. My dresser is big. It is cherry colored, wooden, and has some tremendously great books on it, which most of I have read.  I have pictures of my friends accompanied with hair stuff and jewelry. I have a humongous mirror, which helps me style my hair. Playing music, there is a Sonos with a digital clock.  Commonly my dresser can get cluttered sometimes, like a playroom.  Because dressers are handy I can fit lots of stuff on mine.

Walls are usually boring and dull but mine or interesting and different.

Commonly dressers are plain but mine have photos on it, which reminds me of exhilarating times. Sleeping in my bed, most of the time I get an awesome night’s sleep. The most important part of my room is the walls because that is where my personality shines through. My room is unmatched. When people notice my room they instantly see my personality.

The Next President

Who can you trust? Who should you vote for? Someone you should consider was actually born in Canada, but lives in Texas now.  Senator Ted Cruz has a pretty neat family, a great education, and has had a tremendously awesome political life...so far.

Ted Cruz has an interesting family in some ways. His father, who dangerously escaped from Cuba because of communism, took a job in Texas. His mother was born in Delaware and met Cruz's father in New Orleans. On December 22nd, 1970, Ted Cruz was born in Canada. They eventually moved back to Texas, where he now lives. In 2001 he married a woman named Heidi and they have two daughters named Caroline and Catherine. Loving and supporting Ted is his wonderful family.

Ted Cruz had an awesome education, which hopefully means he's smart, right? Amazingly he memorized the lengthy Constitution when he was 13. Isn't that marvelous? He graduated from Princeton in 1992 and Harvard Law School in 1995.  Campaigning with George W. Bush, he was a Policy Advisor in 2000. From 2003-2008 he was the Solicitor General of Texas arguing cases before the Supreme Court of the United States. Cruz you got to admit is pretty smart.

With all of his intelligence and experience Ted Cruz was finally ready to run for office. Cruz is the 1st Hispanic Senator of Texas. Filibustering confidently, he talked for 21 hours and 19 minutes on the senate floor, because he promised to fight with every breathe in his body for 40,000,000 Texans who he represented. In 2013 he knew he wanted to run for President of the United States. In 2013 he also started speaking in early primary states such as Iowa. On March 23, 2015 he announced his campaign. He was the 1st candidate to announce his presidential campaign. So far he has won, Iowa, Texas, Alaska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Maine, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, and Wisconsin. Ted Cruz is extremely qualified to lead our country.

Cruz is loyal, trustworthy, and humble. He is a family man, his education is outstanding, and politics is his zone. Family is the most important reason to vote for him.  Even though he is busy, he still cares about his family. Cruz should be the next president of the United States.

Peanut Butter and Jelly

Peanut Butter and Jelly

Peanut Butter and Jelly, which is also known as PB&J is extremely popular in North America.  Historically Peanut Butter has been paired with cheese, celery, watercress, and many other foods. Using a meat grinder to make peanut butter and then spreading it was an 1896 Good Housekeeping Article.  In 1901 “ Boston Cooking-School Magazine of Culinary Science and Domestic Economics” also published an article for combining peanut butter with jelly.  Throughout the 1900’s the price of peanut butter dropped. The sandwich became popular. During World War II The Peanut Board because of US soldiers put peanut butter and jelly on the ration list. National Peanut Butter and Jelly day is on April 2nd.  I like PB&J but surprisingly more often for breakfast.

Fun Facts:  A 2002 survey showed the average American will have eaten 1,500 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before they graduate high school.

The worlds largest peanut butter and jelly sandwich weighed 1,342 pounds, about as much as a polar bear.

There is also a very stupid youtube video that was released in 2004 of a banana singing "Peanut Butter Jelly Time." It has been viewed more than 21 million times.   I wonder why it is a banana. It isn't "Peanut Butter Banana Time."  Here is the youtube video

The Happy Boy (my prequel to Jack and the Beanstalk)

The Happy Boy (my prequel to Jack and the Beanstalk)
By

Once upon a time there lived a boy named Jack. Jack lived in a rich palace. He was a joyful boy who played and walked gleefully through the forest.  Riding on his horse he would race with his friends.  Generously the King gave him a pet monkey who acted silly because Jack acted like a monkey too.  On certain occasions Jack took trips around the world and saw famous landmarks.  Life was as wonderful as a scoop of ice cream.  Jack was a happy boy.

One day a wild fire burned down everything.  Because of the fire Jack was as poor as a rat.  He decided to journey.  While he was traveling, there were dangerously stormy nights and snowy nights. Walking down a dirt road, Jack made a friend, who was a deer.  Instantly he made a friend and named the deer Patch because the deer had one white patch. Beyond the hills Jack spotted some land which gave Jack a fantastic idea.

The land had rich soil and the land was as wonderful as the palace.  Jack built a house.  Running around with glee, Jack simultaneously found a poor cow, who was lost.  Because Jack found the cow, he was now able to drink milk.  Successfully Jack burned sticks and grew a garden. Because of the milk, veggies, fire, and house Jack was happy, unless it was snowy.

The Story of the 3 Little Mice

The Story of the 3 Little Mice

(My story of The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs)

I am a cat. My name is Culvin C. Cox, like fox but with a C. I am always hungry.  Because my cousin Cal was having a birthday, I thought it would be nice to make him a cheese soufflé. Delightfully I started baking and then searchingly I noticed I had no cheese.  Instead of going to the store, I decided to ask the 3 mice who live in the hallway of my house.  The mice that live in my house are quite bothersome, but when you need cheese what better place to hunt down cheese than where pesky mice live.

“Hello Max the Mouse, do you have some cheese, that I may use?” I asked.  “Not by the pitter patter of my feet,” answered Max.  Viciously like a lion I said, “Then I’ll destroy and scratch your hole away.”  After I ferociously scratched the filthy hole away, the mouse, who had passed out was just laying there. Why just leave a mouse lying there on the floor when I am just standing here? Since I am a cat (and because mice are my favorite snack), can you guess what I did? Yep, I ate him.

I went to Ms. Margaret Mouse and the same thing happened Stuffed liked a pig, I went down the hall some more. “Hello Mr. Mike Mickey,” I said pleasantly.  He would not give me cheese by the pitter patter of his feet, which of course was not a surprise.  Naturally I was frustrated.  Because Mr. Mike Mickey is the smarter mouse he had already called the “concatstable”.  So when they showed up I had already destroyed the entire wall.  Despite my protest I was locked in jail and that is my insane story for just some cheese.

The Amazing but Crazy Cow

The Amazing but Crazy Cow

My sequel to The Cow Who Wouldn’t Come Down

On one hot summer afternoon Miss Rosemary, who was calmly swimming in her pool, was practicing her butterfly stroke.  Gertrude her cow was driving her tractor down the road in a farmer’s outfit, when she noticed Miss Rosemary.  Excitedly Gertrude stopped, jumped off, and ran into the barn to put on a bathing suit with tractors on it.  She rushed to the diving platform as if it were hay and –SPLASH- jumped in.  Miss Rosemary was shocked because she had never seen her cow swim and even better doing the butter fly stroke.  Miss Rosemary made an important call.  She called the Olympic headquarters and got her cow a spot in the Summer Olympics.  She was sure her cow would win the gold swimming Olympic medal.

Miss Rosemary and Gertrude traveled to Beijing for the Summer Olympics.  Gertrude put on her tractor suit and started on her first lap.  Off went the buzzer and she was zooming, because she had eaten 41 protein bars, which were very energizing.  After the laps the judges announced that Gertrude was the gold medalist.  Quickly Gertrude sprung up to the stage as if she was a kangaroo and started to sing and dance.  Everybody was amazed.  The swimmers thought that she was a crazy cow.

Because of Gertrude’s performance Miss Rosemary sold her to the circus.  She did every act perfectly.  She did the trapeze and was a clown. Gertrude did everything you think a crazy cow could do.  She became a famous, amazing but crazy cow, which made Gertrude rich. While Gertrude was at the circus, Miss Rosemary bought another cow.  Instantly that cow also began to fly!  Inside Miss Rosemary was devastated.
